Join Dr. McNamara on her thrilling research expedition aboard an icebreaker at the southernmost reaches of the world. Explore the challenges and rewards of working in a breathtakingly beautiful, yet harsh and remote, environment. Experience the captivating journey through treacherous seas, the Ross Ice Shelf, and subzero temperatures under constant daylight. Encounter charming locals like seals, whales, and penguins, and gain insight into the extraordinary lives of scientists in this unique setting.
Open to patrons 14 years or older.
Opens to Out of District patrons on Monday, September 25.
