Event Description
One of George Washington’s first acts as the new President was to come to Long Island to tour the island and to thank those that had helped in the defeat of the British. This “Grand Tour” was carefully documented in Washington’s journal, but some of the places he visited have been lost in time. Join Eco-Photo Explorers for a fascinating historical adventure as we trace the route of Washington’s tour.
